Dr. Jaideep Raj Rao is the Senior Consultant Surgeon at JR surgery at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore and specializes in Minimal Access & Robotic Surgery, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery, Gastrointestinal Surgery, Oncology Surgery & Hernia and Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstruction (Hernia Repair Surgery). Dr. Rao completed his basic and advanced surgical training in Tan Tock Seng Hospital & Singapore General Hospital, Singapore. He was awarded the National Healthcare Human and Manpower Development Plan fellowship by the Ministry of Health in 2007 in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery. Dr. Rao completed his fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Korea in 2008. He was the Senior Consultant & Head of Upper Gastrointestinal, Bariatric & Minimal Access Surgery and Director of the Bariatric surgery program at Tan Tock Seng Hospital for the last 10 years before founding JR surgery.
